GOVERNANCE

CARE Uganda operates under the governance of two different boards of directors – one in the United States and one on-site in Kayango.

​

The Board of Directors in the US (known as the CARE Uganda Board) is made up of members of the Grant Evangelical Free Church,New Life Fellowship Church, and Imperial Berean Church, with James Harms acting as president.

​

The Board of Directors in Kayango (known as the Kayango Children’s Kiddukiro, or KCK, Board) is made up of members of the community with Satati Hosea, Administrative Assistant of the CUEC, presiding as chairman.

ACCOUNTABILITY

The president of the CARE Uganda Board makes two to three trips a year to the KCK property and is in communication with Satati, the
director of the Kayango Children’s Kiddukiro, on a weekly basis. Both boards mentioned above work tirelessly and harmoniously to
ensure that our mission is clear and that the fruit of our labors will, indeed, transform Kayango for Christ.
